II International Biomedical Forum "Research and Innovation"
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dear participants and guests of the forum!
On behalf of Karaganda Medical University, we welcome you to the II International Biomedical Forum «Research and Innovation»!
Our forum joints together scientists, doctors, teachers, young researchers, industry representatives, government agencies and international organizations. Its main task is to create the space for professional dialogue in which scientific ideas are developed, new technologies are put into practice, and cooperation between universities, clinics, and businesses becomes the basis for joint projects.
This year, the legacy of Pyotr Moiseevich Pospelov occupies the special place in the concept of the forum. Pyotr Moiseevich Pospelov was the founder and first rector of our university, and he was the outstanding doctor, the healthcare organizer and the teacher of several generations of medical professional.
Pyotr Moiseevich's name is associated not only with the creation of the Karaganda State Medical Institute, but also with the formation of its main values: responsibility to society, high-quality medical education, respect for science, support for young professionals and unconditional service to people. The traditions he laid down continue to determine the development of our university today.
Turning to the legacy of Pyotr Moiseevich Pospelov, we are not only talking about history. We are talking about the continuity of generations, about the personal responsibility of a scientist and a doctor, about the ability to set ambitious goals and create something that will serve people for many decades. It is these principles that underpin modern biomedical science and unite the participants of our forum.
The scientific program of the forum covers four key areas:
- development and implementation of new medicines;
- OMICs technologies – genomics, proteomics, metabolomics and other areas;
- Bioinformatics, data analysis and artificial intelligence in biomedicine;
- Bioengineering and medical technologies.
The forum will include plenary and breakout sessions, expert discussions, workshops, an electronic poster session, as well as an exhibition of modern medical, laboratory and technological solutions.
We are confident that the forum will become a platform for meaningful knowledge exchange, the emergence of new scientific ideas and the formation of long-term partnerships. May respect for the history and achievements of our predecessors become a pillar for us, and openness to new knowledge, technologies, and international cooperation be the foundation for moving forward.
We wish all participants productive work, interesting discussions, new professional contacts and successful implementation of joint initiatives.
