ACADEMIC POLICY
Monitoring-and-periodic-evaluation-of-programs
1) Regular monitoring, review and updating of educational programs are aimed at ensuring their effective implementation and creating a favorable learning environment for students.
2) These processes include the assessment of:
- content of the educational program in the trends of recent scientific research on specific discipline research to ensure the relevance of the program being taught;
- periodically changing needs of society;
- academic load, performance and graduation of students;
- efficiency of students evaluation procedures;
- expectations, requirements, and contentment of students in the educational program;
- learning environment, support services and their relevance to the objectives of the educational program.
4) The University ensures that stakeholders are informed of all changes made as a result of evaluation and monitoring of educational programs.
5) The basis for monitoring, analysis and updating of educational programs can be:
- amendments in the Regulatory Legal Acts;
- amendments/supplements to the National Qualifications Framework, Sectoral Qualifications Framework;
- amendments/introduction of new professional standards;
- results of quality assessment of the educational program (audit, proposals of the stakeholders, accreditation results, etc.);
- research results of the faculty members.
7) Assessment of the quality of the educational program by the main stakeholders is implemented through:
- satisfaction evaluation of graduates with the educational program and learning environment;
- satisfaction evaluation of students with the educational program;
- satisfaction evaluation of employers with the quality of training of graduates;
- annual data collection and analysis of employment, analysis of career development of graduates.
- analyzing the results of intermediate and final certification;
- discussing the results of academic performance at the meetings of collegial bodies;
- analyzing the quality of training of students within the work of attestation commissions.
- compliance of assessment criteria with the expected learning outcomes;
- compliance of the content of the assessment material with the goals and objectives of the discipline;
- efficiency of the assessment procedure.
11) The process of monitoring, evaluation and improvement of educational programs is the area of responsibility of supervisors of educational program.
